Description

The Canon EOS Rebel T100 (known as the EOS 4000D in Europe and some markets, or EOS 3000D in parts of Asia-Pacific). Released in February 2018, it is Canon’s ultra-entry-level APS-C DSLR, designed for absolute beginners and budget-conscious users stepping up from smartphones or point-and-shoot cameras. Note: Compared to the similar EOS 2000D (Rebel T7), the T100 has a lower-resolution 18 MP sensor (vs. 24 MP), smaller/lower-res 2.7” LCD (vs. 3.0” 920k dots), plastic lens mount (vs. metal), and slightly fewer features — making it the more budget-oriented “step-down” model.
